Woman Uses Stun Gun When Caught Stealing $190 In Items At CT Post Mall, Police Say

A 39-year-old woman used a stun gun on a store loss prevention employee after being caught shoplifting at Boscov's in the Connecticut Post Mall.

The incident took place around 2 p.m., Friday, March 1, when Milford police responded to the mall on a report of a shoplifter attempting to flee the store with $190 in items, said the Milford Police.

When officers arrived at the mall at 1201 Boston Post Road, they found that Tamara Kisic of Bridgeport had used a stun gun on the employee in an effort to avoid apprehension. 

She was arrested by officers and charged with larceny, assault, breach of peace and robbery. She is being held on $7,500 bond pending her appearance in Milford Superior Court.

It was not known if the employee was injured by the stun gun.
